Here is a field of Tulips for my dear friend Norma. The Tulip is the flower for Norma. Tulip make look fragile but its strength and longevity endures. Norma Hendel is as dynamic, bold, unique and beautiful as a field of Tulips. The strength of their personality, character and diversity is present as one who as has realized their true potential.
Reconnected with my dear friend Norma Hendel after calling to check up on her Monday, March 28. Norma was in great spirits and happy to hear from me. I've been visiting and calling Norma for years, but after her youngest son died Norma was not in the mood for visitors. Actually after Larry her beloved husband passed after 66 years of adoring her, Norma was not up for company. What a pleasant surprise to hear the joy in her voice to her from me and accepted my invitation for a visit. I went for my first visit in years the very next day Tuesday with Norma.
I decided to day during our visits that I want to share Norma with you. I told her that I would start a blog sharing her life, knowledge and wisdom and bring it to her to edit. She loved the idea and told me a friend had offered to tape some of their conversations and used them as part of her thesis. What an honor!
May we all have such a wonderful fulling life as Norma. Will keep you posted on Visits with Norma.
